Origin & Production:
Crafted in France, Louis Dazenac Medium Sweet Red is made from a blend of ripe, late-harvested red grapes, carefully vinified to capture their natural fruitiness. Fermentation is gently halted to retain residual sugars, resulting in a smooth, mellow wine that appeals to a wide range of palates.
Tasting Notes:
Deep ruby in color, this wine offers inviting aromas of ripe cherries, strawberries, and plum jam, enhanced by a subtle hint of vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate, it is soft, round, and medium-bodied, with lush red fruit flavors and a gentle sweetness that lingers through to the finish. A light tannic structure adds just enough balance to prevent it from feeling overly sweet.
Serving Suggestion:
Best enjoyed slightly chilled (12–14 °C) alongside charcuterie, roasted poultry, or soft cheeses. It pairs equally well with berry-based desserts or can be sipped on its own as a smooth, easy-drinking red.
