Origin & Production:
Produced in the Pays d’Oc region of southern France, Les Ormes de Cambras Merlot is crafted from carefully selected Merlot grapes grown under Mediterranean sunshine. The grapes are destemmed, fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness, and aged briefly to soften tannins and enhance roundness.
Tasting Notes:
This Merlot presents a deep garnet color and a bouquet of black cherries, redcurrants, and hints of cocoa. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, with flavors of ripe plum, blackberry, and a touch of vanilla. Soft tannins and balanced acidity create a pleasant, easy-drinking style.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve at 16–18 °C with grilled meats, pasta with tomato-based sauces, or mild cheeses. It’s also an excellent choice for casual gatherings thanks to its versatile, approachable profile.
